The carbon fibre outer leading edge
is lighter than the standard aluminium outer
leading edge and therefore decreases wing
tip inertia, thus improving the manoeuvrability
of the glider. |

These very thin, light yet strong inserts
are positioned in a sown pocket within the
leading edge. They run nearly the full
length of the leading edge and assist with
wind deflection on the leading edge, providing
a clean, smooth leading surface. |
